Thanksgiving Turkeys at Coverdale Farm

Celebrate the holidays with a local tradition that tastes as good as it feels. Our pasture-raised Thanksgiving turkeys enjoy fresh air, open fields, and a healthy, natural diet, resulting in the rich flavor that has made Coverdale Farm Preserve turkeys a seasonal favorite.

Reservations open  November 1st. Supplies are limited and sell out quickly, so early ordering is encouraged. Turkeys can be reserved in two weight categories—under 20 pounds or 20+ pounds. A $25 deposit is required for each turkey reserved.

Pick-Up Details:
Pre-ordered turkeys are picked up at The Market at Coverdale the week of Thanksgiving. Exact dates and hours are announced each fall. During pick-up hours, The Market also offers seasonal produce and local specialties to make your holiday meal even more special.

How Payment Works:
A $25 deposit reserves one turkey in your preferred weight range. The remaining balance, priced at $8 per pound, is due at pick-up. Payment can be made by cash, credit card, or check payable to Delaware Nature Society.
Each bird is pasture-raised, so sizes may vary naturally. While we can’t guarantee exact weights, we’ll do our best to accommodate your preferences.

Enjoy a delicious, farm-raised meal while supporting local, regenerative agriculture this Thanksgiving.
