Donate Your Land

Protecting land with Delaware Nature Society is one of the most meaningful ways to safeguard our region’s natural heritage. Through science-driven land management and strong advocacy, we work to conserve the water, air, and wildlife that sustain Delaware and its surrounding communities.

Highlights:

  • 2,000+ acres of land under protection by DelNature

Monarch Legacy Society

The Monarch Legacy Society is DelNature’s recognition program for individuals who choose to support the organization through a planned or legacy gift. The Monarch Legacy Society recognizes visionary supporters who have included DelNature in their estate plans. Through planned gifts, these dedicated individuals create a lasting legacy that protects land, wildlife, and natural resources while supporting environmental education and advocacy for generations to come. Their commitment ensures that future communities can continue to learn from, enjoy, and benefit from the natural world.

It is critical to let us know of your gift because many popular retirement plan administrators assume no obligation to notify a charity of your designation. The administrator also will not monitor whether your gift designations are followed. We would love to talk to you about your intentions to ensure that they are followed. We would also like to thank you for your generosity.
